FAQ

What are my accessibility options?

Guests with accessibility needs are encouraged to reach out to us and coordinate to ensure their needs are met. An elevator is available to access the event space (otherwise 10 ft of stairs) and restrooms are wheelchair accessible. While much information is in visual format, all vendors are happy to guide guests through the tastings and activities verbally. Quiet spaces are also available throughout the building if you need time away from the crowd.

Do I need to be 21+ to enter?

Yes. Only guests who show a valid government-issued ID indicating their age is 21+, will be permitted to enter. You'll be given a wristband which needs to be visible to sake vendors: they may ask to see your wristband if it isn't immediately apparent.

Are children or pets allowed?

No. No one under the age of 21 is allowed to enter the event. Licensed service animals are allowed but we caution against bringing them due to the potential crowd size.

Will there be water available at the event?

Yes. There will be many water stations setup throughout the event.

Will there be food at the event?

Yes. There will be a designated food area with food for purchase as well as some free snacks.

Can I purchase sake at the event?

Yes, although purchase and pickup will be two separate times. It will take us some time to consolidate your order so it will be available for pickup the next week at Sunflower Sake.

Is there a limit to the amount of sake I can try?

No, but please drink responsibly! OLCC laws require us to ask you to leave if you become visibly intoxicated.

Where can I park?

Ample neighborhood street parking is available. Please don't park in the designated lots for Smith Tea, Westward Whiskey, WC Winks or Memory Den, you may be cited. Please don't leave any valuables in your car, as the event will be ending after dark.

Will Sunflower Sake be open during the event?

No. Sunflower Sake will be closed during the event.

Do you offer any sort of discounted tickets?

Guests interested but unable to afford the cost, especially those in the F&B/hospitality industry, are encouraged to contact the organizer at info@fuyufest.org for a sliding-scale ticket.

Can I cancel my ticket?

Yes. Cancellation for a full refund can be processed if the request is received before 1/14/2023. Otherwise, tickets are fully transferrable using the Every ticket you have been issued. Contact us if you have any questions or concerns.
